Based on Executive Decree No. 03/279 dated August 23, 2003, which defines the functions of the university and the specific rules for its organization and functioning, amended and supplemented by Executive Decree No. 06/343 dated September 27, 2006, the Vice-Rectorate for Higher Education in the Third Cycle, University Accreditation, and Scientific Research announces the opening of candidacy for faculty representation on the University’s Academic Council for the following positions:

• Two (2) representatives for professors with the rank of professorship (Professor or Senior Lecturer “A”) from each faculty and institute, elected by their peers within the same faculty or institute.
• Two (2) representatives for all Assistant Professors, categories “A” and “B,” at the university.

Permanent faculty members interested in running for representation on the University’s Academic Council are invited to approach the Vice-Rectorate for Postgraduate Studies (Research Results Valorization Office) to register their candidacies.

The candidacy period extends from November 3, 2024, to November 10, 2024, and elections will be held on a later date within the faculties and institutes.”
